Description

This Evotech tail tidy has been designed specially for your Ducati Monster to make it look even better than the factory did.

The tail tidy fully integrates with the sporting lines of your Monster and is easy to fit, using the Ducati's existing mountings.

You won't have to modify your bike in any way and all fixings, instructions and a discreet LED rear number plate light are included in the kit.

The rear light is retained, the seat lock is incorporated to preserve security and the rear indicators are re-used.

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

It seems solid and looks good, but unfortunately didn't fit the bike.

I just got to installing the tail tidy during the Christmas holidays, and it does NOT fit the bike (2011 Ducati Monster 1100 Evo) as it is supposed to. The distance from the lock cylinder to the lock itself is too large that the cable is over extended and the lock doesn't lock, but instead remains open.

I measured the distance between the lock cylinder and the rear bolt as a reference point, and on the original tail it measures 7.5 cm, on the Evotech it measures 9.5 cm. Which means the location for the lock cylinder is wrong.

I contacted support about this via the website and email. Awaiting their reply after the holidays.

Hi Mohamed, we're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your purchase. However, it looks like you may have installed another aftermarket tail tidy prior to installing ours, which has replaced the lock cable with a shorter aftermarket version. Our EP Tail Tidies are designed to work with the OEM lock cable. Hope this helps - EP Team
