Beautifully engineered bars for my Speed Twin 1200, but with very minimalistic instructions. The term ‘do not fully tighten’ is rather vague - as after 2 hours of struggling to get the engine cover bolts through, we decided to completely loosen off all components on the crash bar (as loose as possible without them falling apart) and finally got them aligned.
Quality of product 5 stars, instructions 3 stars (hence the overall score of 4 stars).

Designed to spread the “crash” load across both side of the frame and engine mounting bolts. Finish nearly a perfect match to the Triumph black engine finish. Because of tolerance variations could not be fitted as an assembly, required mounting the spools after securing the engine/frame mounts.

Product looks and feels great, sadly I could not fit them as the engine mount on my bike is out of tolerance and without dropping the whole engine it just wouldnt go on.
Ive spoken to evotech and returned, no quibbles, they understand, just waiting for the refund.
