What will an EP Radiator Guard do for me?

It will give you peace of mind! For your Super Duke GT, though, it will provide the radiator much needed protection from stone damage. Once installed, the EP guard looks every inch a factory supplied item and simply goes about protecting the Super Duke GT radiator from road debris, while allowing cooling air to pass through. The radiator’s delicate fins easily bend, and misaligned fins can restrict cooling air, which can lead to overheating. The internal core of the radiator is also at risk of being holed by stones - stones that can be picked up and flung directly into the radiator from the bike’s front tyre or from other traffic. Leaking coolant can lead to rapid overheating with a high chance of engine damage.

    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days

  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

Quality protection as always

I bought this for the 2019+ 1290 GT, but the installation instructions were focused on the Super Adventure bikes. It seems they use the same guard, but the fittings are somewhat different. There were some extra mounting pieces that I didn't need (always unnerving to install something and have bolts left over), so it would be good to have GT specific instructions included.

That said it installed very easily and looks like it came this way from the factory.

Remove 4 screws, slide into place, replace 4 screws.
Looks good and offers piece of mind when out in the middle of nowhere! Quality product as are the rest of the Evotech products I’ve fitted to my ‘19 SDGT. Tail tidy, passenger peg delete kit and crash protection.
