What are Paddock Stand Bobbins?

EP Paddock Stand Bobbins for the Ducati DesertX are an easy solution for how to raise the rear end of your motorcycle to complete maintenance tasks or for longer term storage.  The bobbins are produced from strong injection-moulded nylon and are reinforced with a press fit inner stainless steel bush to support the weight of the back end. The bobbins have an hourglass shape to catch and control the mounting point of a range of C or V cup paddock stands. Each bobbin also features an aluminium spacer, shaped to perfectly fit the bobbins to your Ducati.

Note: EP Paddock Stand Bobbins are designed to support the weight of the motorcycle only. They are not designed to withstand the additional weight of a person sitting on the bike.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Evotech Bobbins on Ducati Desert X

Installed the evotech bobbins on the Desert X and they look great, slightly smaller in diameter than my last pair but fit the bike well, they have a matt finish as well which also goes great with the Duc's matt paint!
