What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Offering protection to the front wheel spindle, lower front forks and brake calipers, EP spindle bobbins for the Ducati Panigale 1199 R are discreet yet strong. The black bobbins sit snugly either side of the front spindle, held in place by a rolled-thread spindle rod. At the rear, the spindle bobbin projects from the wheel offering protection to the swingarm, an anodised red hub stop securing the stainless steel rolled-thread rod in place. The hardwearing materials of injection-moulded nylon and aluminium hope to be first to receive impact should an incident occur.
