What is a Motorcycle Sat Nav Mount?

Designed for the rider to add their TomTom sat nav, the EP Sat Nav Mount for the Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro places the screen in line of sight for guidance on the move.   Machined from one piece of aluminium and then reinforced with the signature hard-wearing EP black powder-coating, the lightweight sat nav bracket secures to the screen support framework.   The support is perfectly shaped to suit the TomTom mount, ready for the rider to add their TomTom sat nav.

Note: TomTom Motorcycle Sat Nav not included.

Well Made Sat Nav Mount

A very well made and high quality mount. The online video instructions were first class and made for a very straightforward installation.

great addition to the Tiger 900 GT pro

The item feels solid and of good quality. fits the motorcycle perfectly. Video instructions are ok but misses on a few bits such as removal of the o-rings and retrieval and use of the rubber spacers that go to the handle. in general feels good.

Does what it says

Fitting this to replace the one I had on the 2020 model Tiger 900 GT Pro, as it won't fit the 2024 model, much easier. One suggestion I would make is to move stage 15 to before stage 13 as it's easier without the screen fitted.
I also suffer with DRL not working, but had the issue before the Sat Nav mount was fitted

A few niggles

The product is well manufactured, good quality and instructions are thorough so fitting was straight forward. However, I have a couple of issues with the mount in use on the bike. I was unable to fit my Tom Tom anti theft solution to the mount as there simply isn't room behind the screen of the bike. The sat nav can also not be easily mounted and dismounted without contacting the screen, when fed back to Evotech their solution to this was to load the nav from the bottom and run it upside down. I now found it easier to rotate the bracket and mount the nav from the side. After a few rides I have also discovered that the position of the mount interferes with the light sensor on the TFT dash and the day time running lights no longer come on automatically as the bike always thinks it is dark. So overall a little disappointed.
