Is an EP Engine Guard necessary?

Protection for any vulnerable motorcycle component should be considered because it can prove to be cost effective - especially when it comes to the engine and the possible damage it can incur. By being exposed in true classic retro style, the Triumph engine is open to being peppered with stones and other road debris. This means the frontal area of the engine can look worse for wear in a short time. The EP Engine Guard acts as a front-line defence against all manner of objects that can be flicked up by the front tyre or other traffic - and looks good while doing so.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

2025 Thruxton FE engine/sump guard

The Evorech engine/sump guard for (my) 2025 Triumph Thruxton FE is an excellent piece of kit. The installation was a bit tedious but once completed the fit, finish, and value of the product is peerless. I also included the radiator guard along with the front axle protector bobbins. Each of those items were similarly of high quality, fit and finish. Installation of the radiator guard, and the axle protector was a breeze. My recommendation is irrespective of the model of Triumph one owns you must outfit it with one or more of these items. These three mods are totally worth the time and $$$ you invest in acquiring and installing them.

Sturdy and relatively easy to install

The design seems quite robust. The online instructions need updating -does not show the application of the bolts necessary (which are indeed supplied) for a Thruxton RS 1200 (2023) that MUST replace the OEM bolts. I figured it out, but please update the visual instructions or qualify what's shown with an added note. Otherwise- great product as always.

Easy install, looks great package arrived soaked

Overall great product, I'm running evotech protection of 2 of my bikes now from engine to guards to fork guards. They last, they don't discolor and they are easy to install. Overall I love there products and do recommend. Only negative with this one is the package arrived soaked in some type of gas fluid. Didn't damage the product but the box was ruined.
