I looked at lots of options from other manufacturers before purchasing my tail tidy. The result is a transformation which really sets the bike off. There is no visible wiring or ducting and in my opinion it looks like a factory fitted item. I did have a minor problem with the wiring, the loom on my bike has really short tails for the indicators, they don’t even reach the centre of the new casting! in itself this isn’t a problem because the joints to the loom can be made inside the tail, between the indicator brackets. You can’t see them when the foam cover is fitted. It does however mean that the number plate light earth connection has to be moved to the front of the casting. Solder or crimp will do the job and the whole wiring loom can be tape wrapped afterwards. A little bit of care and attention is required but the end result is worth it. Not cheap but extremely well made and great value for money, highly recommended. Just an observation but, my UK legal numberplate is wide enough to cover a tiny bit of the indicators, I don’t want to drop it down in case it fouls on the tyre. Guess I’ll have to get a smaller plate???
