What are Evotech Mirror Extension Brackets?

To raise and widen the OE handlebar mounted mirrors, EP have designed Evotech Mirror Extension Brackets for the Yamaha MT-09. The aluminium, powder-coated brackets widen by 50 mm and raise by 30mm to give the rider a clearer view of the road behind.  The Evotech motorcycle mirror parts are secured into the original mounting post using stainless steel bolts whilst the Yamaha mirrors are fitted into the insertion points on the EP brackets.

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

I fitted both of the extenders making sure both the mirror nuts were tight and the bolt into the bike was tight. I went on a ride and within 20 minutes one of the brackets moved - the bolt wa still pretty tight even though the bracket could be moved. They should be supplied with some sort of washer to prevent this. The space the bolt goes into is too small that any washer you’re likely to buy will not fit.
Disappointed for the cost when I see cheaper ones on Amazon supplied with such washers.
The positives are that the extenders do look good and when they arrived they are well presented and packaged, so you feel like you are getting a quality product. They are also a good length so when they stay put they do what they are supposed to.

Evotech Yamaha MT-10 SP Mirror Extension Brackets (2022+)

I got a pair of these extension brackets for my 2024 Yamaha MT-10 SP because all I could see in my mirrors were my arms. I didn't want to purchase expensive aftermarket mirrors, so I tried these Evotech brackets. These brackets are high quality; best of all, I can now see the cars in my mirrors instead of my arms.
