Does my YZF-R9 need a Tail Tidy?

Transform the rear profile of the Yamaha YZF-R9 with the Evotech Tail Tidy - a precision engineered upgrade which compliments the motorcycle’s SuperSport race styling. Replacing the OE rear fender, the Evotech Tail Tidy displays the motorcycle registration plate much closer to the motorcycle’s rear with an integrated, bright LED light and insertion points for the OE indicators. Dependent on the size of licence, the EP registration plate bracket can be altered, thanks to the removable lower V section. Designed to deliver a clean, sporty aesthetic while retaining full road legality, the Evotech motorcycle part is the perfect fusion of style and performance.

The fit and finish as always, is excellent. Had a fair few products for multiple bikes from EvoTech over the years. Easy installation with a great video on the website to use as a guide. The 3D printed main body of the item is fantastic quality, with a powder coated aluminium number plate bracket. Really impressed overall and would highly recommend

Excellent product but needs hard copy fitting instructions

The quality and fit of the unit is excellent apart from the fitting of the main unit to the bike rear seat frame. The apertures in the housing to place the fixing nuts into are too large and the nuts easily fall out when trying to fit the unit. A small piece of tape is needed to locate them. Could be improved by reducing the aperture tolerance or bonding in the nuts. Also not having hard copy instructions makes the fitment more challenging. Overall good quality unit and it really improves the rear of the bike. Would recommend.

I've been purchasing evotech products ever since I've been riding motorcycles. It has been tried and tested for me and ever since the quality has been very good. Except for this time, one corner of the part looked like it had a rough finish and then i touch it and the part started deteriorating.
