Every now and then, we get really, really excited about a new motorcycle and the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is one such machine. Ever since the bike was unveiled at the big two-wheel shows last year, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on one…
Despite delays due to Covid-19, we’ve worked hard to ensure we could get the accessory line for this (and the SP model) launched as quickly as possible, so we’re really pleased to announce we now have immediate availability of the full range!
The two MY20 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade models are the latest versions in a long line of Fireblades that have thrilled owners and sports bike fans since Honda unleashed the original CBR900RR FireBlade model in 1992. The Honda design team knew full well a lightweight, precisely made and perfect handling sports motorcycle would outperform more powerful but ungainly machines of the time.
This design ethos was woven into a prototype 750cc machine, which evolved to 893cc in production guise as the CBR900RR FireBlade. This “Blade” went on to outperform its competitors in back to back comparisons. Looking at specifications for the MY20 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblades, it is obvious Honda has delivered yet another quality sports bike.
