I am so happy with my purchase. Best fitment and quality fast delivery too. Thank you!
Easy to install, looks really good on my trident, multifunctional, appealing.
Fitted the bar risers to my triumph gt pro 2024 and the handling was terrible. The bars moved too much due to the rubber anti vibration washers which triumph have fitted . Also turning the bike in the corners felt unsafe . I put this down to the rubber vibration dampeners , too much play in handlebars refitted bars to stock level bike rides purfect. These risers will work on the tigers not fitted with the rubber vibration pads . I now have bar risers that are no good to me
We are satisfied and can only recommend it to others. Professional!
The processes at Evotech seem to work smoothly!
We love our Tails for our brand new Duke‘s.
A little more information about the headstock mounting dimensions and position would have been helpful, in the advert, in determining if it was the correct piece of kit for your bike. However, a simple question for the retailer supplied the relevant c/c dimensions as 86mm.
Also, an advert photo of the any of the clamps on the relevant target bike would have helped.
There are no instructions supplied so you must be reasonably adept at mechanical stuff.
Fitting is reasonably simply. No instructions are included with the kit. Just be aware to mark out, with masking tape and pen marks to note the current handlebar position/attitude. Also ensure you have a torque wrench for 24nm for the handlebar clamp bolts (2019 Triumph Street twin).
The hardest bit is routing the power cable via the headstock and adjacent to the wiring harness. (Remove the seat, lift the petrol tank, thread the cable, ensure enough slack for handlebar movement, etc., ...) The 2019 Street Twin has a USB connector under the seat. I connected the Satnav Adapter cable to the 12V side of the Triumph USB connector. (Spliced and soldered the cables). This ensures the Satnav is only powered up when the ignition is on.
That all said, I am very pleased with the outcome. I can now swap my TomTom 550 rider between my two bikes.
The Evotech Handlebar clamp seems top-notch in quality. But time will tell on that one :-)
